About our Expert, Chris Tuttle

Chris Tuttle has worked with purpose-driven organizations for more than 20 years as a community organizer and digital strategist, empowering nonprofits to more effectively serve their communities with digital. He has worked with hundreds of local, national, and global nonprofits on a variety of issues, including LGBTQ social justice, great ape conservation, and disease prevention.

Chris has trained thousands of nonprofit leaders from Lilongwe, Malawi to Durham, North Carolina, on developing digital strategies that utilize web, email, social, SMS, chat, AI, and other technologies to more effectively increase constituent reach, engagement, and ultimately, organizational impact. While he’s worked with a number of organizations and created hundreds of successful campaigns, he’s known for his work in developing GLSEN’s Day of Silence, which engages millions of youth in middle & high schools each year in protesting anti-LGBTQ harassment & discrimination in schools, as well as Arcus Foundation & GFAS’s Giving Day for Apes, which has raised nearly 2 million dollars for ape conservation to-date.
