ANN Awarded 2009 Federal Home Loan Bank AHEAD Grant!
The Federal Home Loan Bank of San Francisco has approved awards for the 2009 Access to Housing and Economic Assistance for Development (AHEAD) Program. Alliance for Nevada Nonprofits was awarded $25,000 to build the Nevada nonprofit sector’s capacity to support the needs of the state.
The new Alliance for Nevada Nonprofits will act as a unified voice on public policy issues and help member nonprofits build organizational capacity by providing training and technical assistance, collective purchasing power, and a fundraising infrastructure. The grant will fund program development and pay for marketing to enable the Alliance to pursue other funding opportunities.
