Happy New Year from the AFP Las Vegas Chapter. We are really looking forward to a phenomenal year in 2018 and to sharing great ideas and engaging in inspiring conversation with you this year.
Have you ever noticed how excited we all are when we have the chance to get together and learn from each other? There’s a great energy in sharing good ideas and discussing common problems and opportunities, so this year at AFP we’ve decided to capitalize on that synergy and bring us all together in a more social and networking format.
Introducing Third Thursday Cocktails and Conversation!
On the third Thursday of the month, let’s gather together as a community and talk. We’ll kick off on Thursday, January 18 at Tommy Bahama at Town Square (registration below). We’ll provide the appetizers, you bring yourself and your friends, colleagues and co-workers.
Have a burning question? Got a topic you really want to dig into and find out more about? Let us know and at each Third Thursday AFP will ensure we have subject matter experts and practitioners to talk to and address your questions in a less formal presentation and more casual conversation mode. And while each session may have a particular theme or discussion point, it’s really about coming together as a community of fundraisers and nonprofit professionals and inspiring each other.
We haven’t completely abandoned our professional development sessions and throughout the year we’ll be offering more presentations and workshops, but we want to kick off year with high energy, great networking and some good food and drinks.
