NOTE: ANN protects the privacy of people on our email lists. Therefore, we do not broadcast non-ANN-related emails to ANN members OR nonprofits and individuals on any of ANN’s email lists.

FREE EVENT CALENDARS – NORTHERN NEVADA

KOLOCares.com 
Register on the KOLOCares.com site. Then, click on the “Community Calendar” and then the “Add Event” link.
Reno Gazette Journal (RGJ)
Fill out a form to submit an event to RGJ.com’s extensive calendar database. The event, described in 100 words or less, will also be considered on a space-available bases for the print edition of the Reno Gazette-Journal.
NOTE: If you are aware of additional calendars for nonprofits to post events in Northern Nevada, please email us the information.

FREE EVENT CALENDARS – SOUTHERN NEVADA

AFP Las Vegas

The Las Vegas Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals offers a calendar of educational events in Southern Nevada that are relevant to enhancing the skills of nonprofit professionals. Visit the AFP Las Vegas website to learn about and register for professional development opportunities.

Las Vegas Review-Journal

To post to the Las Vegas Review Journal, one must first create a free account on the site. Click here to register your account. After you have registered, go to the main Calendar page. In the top right corner, select “add to our listings.” On the next page, you can select to create your event listing.

Las Vegas Sun

You have to be a member to  post an event to the Las Vegas Sun site as well. To register your free account, go to the Register page and enter your email. The Sun will then send you information on how to complete your registration. After your registration, go to the Calendar page and select “Submit an event” above the small calendar. There, you can fill in the information about your event. You will need your new username and you will be asked if you would like to be emailed if the event is posted.

Las Vegas City Life

Las Vegas City Life actually uses the same system as the Las Vegas Review-Journal. If you post something on one calendar, it will automatically post to the other. If you have not created an account with the Las Vegas Review-Journal, you must create a free account first. That can be done here. After you have registered, go to the Events page. In the top right-hand corner, click “add to out listings.” There, click “Create Event.”

Las Vegas Events on Eventful

To post an event to Eventful, you must first sign up with them. This is free and you can do so here. After you have signed in, click “Add Event” in the upper right-hand corner. There, you can create your event listing. *Note: This is a good place to post a listing because many calendar sites that aggregate their information do so from this site.

Nevada Gives Calendar

No enrollment is necessary. Simply complete the form here and click “Submit”. Your event will appear on the Event Calendar.

Click here to visit ANN’s Facebook page. Click on the button to “like” the page. Once you have liked the page, make a comment adding the event information you would want, including a link to your webpage and/or download your event flyer.

ANN’s Twitter stream

Click here to visit ANN’s Twitter page.  Click on the “+follow” button. For greater reach, include @ANNConnect in the body of your 140-character message. Include a link to your webpage or event flyer.
