We recently learned about a great opportunity to help you amplify your holiday giving this year. Newman’s Own Foundation has teamed up with CrowdRise to provide a peer-to-peer fundraising platform with $500K in prize money available for participating organizations. You can join the effort by clicking the link below and submitting a short application. From there, CrowdRise and Newman’s Own Foundation will provide you with all the tools you need to craft a creative online fundraising campaign that aligns wholly with your year-end appeal. Let Amazon help: Sign your organization up with Amazon Smiles and let your supporters know that when they shop on Amazon and select your organization as their charity of choice, Amazon will send that charity a check for a percentage of the sales.  Charities can sign up at https://org.amazon.com/

Check with local grocery stores like Smith’s/Krogers who offer a Community Card.  Similar to Amazon, when your supporters shop with their store rewards card and have designated a charity of choice the store then sends that charity a check.  The charity must register with the store and provide proof of 501c3 status.  For Smith’s/Krogers charities can sign up at https://www.smithsfoodanddrug.com/account/enrollCommunityRewardsNow

Don’t forget Giving Tuesday!  While everyone is focused on buying their holiday gifts, we want to remind that giving to charitable organizations is also important.  Sign your organization up at https://www.givingtuesday.org/organizations. Then use the toolkit to get your message out to your supporters.

End of year fundraising should incorporate many avenues.  Good luck!
